Quail Hunting Rate Schedule

2011 - 2012 Season (October 15, 2011 - March 15, 2012)

Two Rivers

The Farm

700 gorgeous acres, sloping down to a 3.5 mile border on the Saunders Slough Arm of Lake Seminole, at the southern ef State Road 39 in Seminole County, GA.

The owner's personal 550 acre farm, located on State Road 262, six miles north of Climax, in Decatur County, GA.

 

Both properties are beautiful Southwest Georgia quail lands, consisting of open pine stands with broom sedge, wiregrass and other quail cover, that have been exclusively managed for quail, deer, turkey and duck hunting.

Full day hunt for a party of up to four hunters, includes:                                 $3,850             $3,650           

mule drawn quail buggy, quail guide on horseback, no bag

limit on quail killed, three meals, overnight accommodations,

birds cleaned and frozen, all tips.

 

Half day hunt (9:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon or 2:00 p.m. to                                $2,225            $2,100

5:00 p.m.) for a party of up to four hunters, includes: same

features as full day hunt except includes only two meals,

breakfast and lunch, and no overnight accommodations.

 

Standard Hunt

hunting jeep, depending on preference and availability;

a 12 bird bag limit per hunter.

Deer Hunting and Duck Hunting, if scheduled in conjunction with the quail hunt are available for an additional per hunt charge of $150 per hunter.  Spring Gobbler Hunting is available during this season, which begins after our quail season ends and runs through May 15 at the per hunt rate of $150 per hunter.    

Quail Hunting Rates at Covey Roost

Covey Roost consists of 950+ acres, including traditional quail hunting pinelands and approximately 300 acres in cultivation (peanuts, cotton and/or corn).  This property features a more laid back quail hunting experience at half the normal prices, with highly qualified guides from the area providing their own hunting jeeps and dogs.

Full day hunt for a party of up to four hunters         $1,400       

Half day hunt for a party of up to four hunters          $950

Plus tips for the guide at the recommended levels of $25 - $35 per hunter for a full day and $15 - $20 per hunter for a half day.

There is a charge of $5 per bird killed in excess of the twelve bird per hunter limit.
