Just the basics, no frills, quail hunting at Two Rivers and the Farm is for hunters who are focused on the quality of the hunting experience itself and do not need – or want to pay for – resort-type amenities. Read below the comments of hunters who have this focus and have applied it to multiple hunt experiences at Two Rivers and the Farm:
I have enjoyed over a dozen guided quail hunts at Two Rivers and the Farm. Every facet of the traditional quail hunt is provided by Bob Feagin and his team. The rolling, well-managed cover, the great bird-dogs, the mule-drawn buggy, and the fast flying birds all make the days special for us and our guests. I’d recommend Two Rivers and the Farm with Bob and his knowledgeable team to anyone looking for the complete quail hunting experience. And be sure to get Dallas to share some of his original music with you over lunch!

When you are one of 4 grumpy old men, with a median age of at least 75, it is difficult to be entertained. Where else, however, can you wake up at an hour before sunrise and be back an hour later eating a traditional Southern breakfast, with a limit of wood ducks. At Two Rivers and the Farm you set your own schedule. If it weren’t for the quail guide and hunt boss, Dallas, you are almost in charge. You return from a hunt just in time for fresh Apalachicola oysters and another wonderful meal. With great dog work, beautiful South Georgia woods, and birds that fly just fast enough for 75 year old eyes, you are reminded of the good old days. Of course, if one’s taste runs to country music you can close the day with the finest 2 piece band south of downtown Pelham, with Dallas and his son giving you some of the classics and his own original songs.
Best deal in South Georgia!

What a special treat it's been for me, together with my hunting buddies and guests, to have had the privilege to hunt both at Two Rivers and at the Farm north of Climax over the past several years. The birds have been plentiful, the guides and dogs excellent, the land itself is uniquely beautiful, and the overnight accommodations (particularly at the Farm) are quite comfortable. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who enjoys upland bird hunting, and who appreciates beautiful surroundings.

Two Rivers is a fantastic combination of birds, dogs, people, and land. My hunts there are the best of every season. But it ain't for everybody. And that's what makes it special. The accommodations are basic, the food is simple, and some of the staff might appear somewhat scruffy by some standards some of the time. That said, it's still the best place to hunt in all of south Georgia. Get ready to have a spectacular time at Two Rivers. You won't be disappointed.

To fellow hunters: Two Rivers hunting is a great experience for any serious hunter. Guides and plantation-like land are as good as you will find anywhere. Hope to see Bob, Dallas and staff this winter.

Two Rivers Preserve is one of the most beautiful and well managed hunting properties in South Georgia. The location on the shores of Lake Seminole results in stunning views and an ambiance that is simply beyond compare. The intensive management program results in ideal hunting conditions . . . with plentiful, fast birds, excellent shooting lanes and amazing vistas. . . .
While the Two Rivers property will leave an everlasting impression on the most experienced bird hunter, The Farm has an appeal all its own. . . . We spent the Thanksgiving weekend on The Farm with my visiting children and the experience was quite memorable. Early morning Wood duck hunts left us amazed by the number of fast flying Woodies, the quail hunting from the mule drawn buggy was first class, the food preparation was made to order. Sitting under the stars on a cool South Georgia evening by the fire pit finished an amazing experience for all.
